The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has awarded a Degree of Management Science, Honoris causa, to Prof Daniel Olukoya, General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM).
This prestigious honour recognises Olukoya’s outstanding contributions to education, science, and spiritual leadership. As a microbiologist and servant of God, Olukoya has combined academic excellence with spiritual purpose, inspiring transformation in society.

In a Facebook post, Olukoya expressed gratitude to FUTA, the MFM pastorate, and everyone who has supported his journey, dedicating the award to God’s faithfulness.
“It was a profound honor to be awarded a Degree of Management Science, Honoris causa, by the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) today. This recognition celebrates my contributions to education, science, and spiritual leadership—areas that are very close to my heart.
“As a microbiologist and servant of God, it’s been my mission to combine academic excellence with spiritual purpose, inspiring transformation in society.
“Through God’s grace and the platform of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), I’ve been privileged to share a message of hope, prayer, and purposeful living with many.
“This recognition humbles me and reminds me that every achievement belongs to God. It highlights the power of His guidance in promoting excellence and shaping the next generation of leaders.
