Alh. Abdulaziz Afolabi, the newly elected Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Kwara State Chapter, has stated that Akogun Iyiola Oyedepo, Chairman, Governing Council of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, and Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa, BOB, Chairman of the board, National Broadcasting Commission (NBC) are not yet members of the party.
It could be recalled that oth men lead a powerful faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and are loyal to Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information, who has been at loggerheads with Governor Abdulrahaman Abdulrazak of Kwara State.
The SDP Chairman clarified on Tuesday during the state congress of the party where the leadership structure of the party from the ward to the state emerged via consensus arrangement.
