A head chef grabbed a sleeping woman’s throat and raped her after she allowed him to spend the night at her home in Edinburgh.
Ross Nicol of Burntisland, Fife has today been sentenced to five years behind bars after being found guilty of rape.
Nicol, 31, took advantage of the victim at the flat in the Slateford area of the Scottish capital on August 31 2018.
