Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke yesterday suspended his Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Civil Societies, Mr. Emmanuel Adebisi, over alleged diversion of 70 ‘Sallah’ bags of rice meant for constituents.
Governor Adeleke ordered that Adebisi should be suspended with immediate effect.
The governor, through his spokesperson, Olawale Rasheed, in a statement, noted that “Governor Adeleke has directed immediate suspension of Adebisi, pending the outcome of investigation by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Kazeem Akinleye.”
However, Adebisi, in a post on his verified Facebook account, denied the alleged diversion of 70 bags of rice during Sallah, insisting that he has not been suspended.
