Amid widespread demonstrations in Nigeria under the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria movement, internationally renowned musician Burna Boy has strongly denied any affiliation with politicians.
The artist’s statement on Thursday comes in the wake of ongoing protests marked by incidents of violence and looting across the country.
Posting on the social media platform X, Burna Boy stated, “No politician has ever given me anything. Go ask Wike where the land or money he supposedly gave me is. You think I’m like your favorites.”
