Pager explosions linked to Hezbollah claim multiple lives in Lebanon

At least eight people were killed and 2,750 others were wounded in a pager explosion across Lebanon, including Hezbollah fighters, medics, and Iran’s envoy to Beirut. The Israeli military declined to comment on the detonations, but Hezbollah officials said it was the “biggest security breach” the group had been subjected to in nearly a year of conflict with Israel.

The Lebanese foreign ministry described the explosions as a “dangerous and deliberate Israeli escalation” accompanied by Israeli threats to expand the war towards Lebanon on a large scale.
