Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) insisted that she was “working hard” for her constituents on Thursday as she fumed over a journalist pressing her about her anti-trans crusade in Congress.
Scripps News anchor Liz Landers, in a fiery interview with the lawmaker who once claimed that “no one should be discriminated against” including trans people, noted that Americans are “facing a lot of challenges” and listed several issues as she noted the impact they have on South Carolinians.
“Why do you think your constituents want you to focus on this bathroom resolution and not their jobs that were just potentially lost at Boeing?” asked Landers in an interview that featured several anti-trans remarks from Mace.
