Mobile network Three’s outage last night left people unable to call 999 and many users this morning are still facing problems.

Three’s 10.5 million customers reported being unable to make any phone calls during the outage, with more than 10,000 people reporting problems on DownDetector.

On Friday morning some customers were still reporting problems, with Three admitting last night they had no time frame in which the problem would be fixed. 

The company said in a post on X that it was ‘aware of an issue affecting a small percentage of voice services’, adding that its team was ‘working hard to fix this as soon as possible’.

‘We’re really sorry for any inconvenience caused. Data services and 999 calls are unaffected, please bear with us,’ they added.
