M60 crash: ‘Several’ people are injured after lorry smashed through central reservation and ploughed into SIX vehicles – motorway closed

‘Several’ people have been injured in a horrific six vehicle pile up which saw a lorry smash through central reservation before crashing into other road users.

One person has been rushed to Salford Royal hospital with serious injuries while four others are being assessed at the scene on the M60 motorway, M.E.N reports.

A shocking video from the scene shows multiple emergency vehicles rushing past gridlocked traffic with their sirens blaring out.   

The video then jumps to show at least half a dozen emergency services gathered close to the crash site.        

A section of the M60 motorway near Salford remains closed and emergency services are currently on the scene.
