Vice President Kashim Shettima on Friday, November 23, presided over the one hundred and thirty-seventh (137th) National Economic Council meeting in Abuja.
The meeting, which convened at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa, was attended by governors alongside several ministers and other stakeholders.
The meeting is aimed to tackle crucial economic challenges stemming from the removal of petrol subsidy.
The agenda includes discussions on the report presented to the federal government by Professor Emmanuel Adanu, Chairman of the Technical Working Group, the Presidential Committee on Flood Mitigation, Adaptation, Preparedness, and Response, among other pertinent issues.
