Yoruba Fuji musician Taye Currency has publicly acknowledged fellow Fuji star Pasuma as his boss, while referring to Saheed Osupa as his colleague. In a recent interview with Akede Ariya, he clarified his long-standing relationship with Pasuma, dismissing rumors of a feud between them.
Taye Currency revealed that he met Pasuma in 1993 and has admired him ever since, citing Pasuma’s humility as a key reason for his respect. He emphasized that while he never formally trained under Pasuma, their bond remains strong. Addressing recent tensions, he attributed the controversy to fan reactions, insisting there was no real conflict between them.
The musician also mentioned Obesere as a mentor in Fuji music and described Saheed Osupa as a colleague. He maintained that misunderstandings are normal in long-term relationships but urged fans to stop fueling unnecessary disputes.
Taye Currency’s statement aims to put an end to speculations about discord in the Fuji music industry while reaffirming his respect for Pasuma.
