Breaking [2022 Electoral Act]: Reps step down motion to override Buhari on statutory delegates

The House of Representatives on Tuesday, stepped down a motion seeking a resolution to override President Muhammadu Buhari on his failure to assent to amendment of the 2022 Electoral Act, to allow statutory delegates participate in congresses and conventions of their respective political parties.

Failure of the assent had denied elected public office holders the chances of participating in the recently concluded primary elections of political parties in the country, as build up to the 2023 elections thickens.
