Osun State Governor Adegboyega Oyetola has said the All Progressives Congress (APC) will poll more than 187,057 votes to win the July 16 governorship election.
Ekiti State Governor-elect Biodun Oyebanji polled 187,057 votes to win the June 18 election.
Oyetola spoke yesterday during a campaign at St Peters Primary School in Iragbiji, Boripe Local Government Area. He urged his supporters to vote massively for him.
The governor, who hails from Iragbiji, admonished residents to get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) to vote for him as a demonstration of their love towards him.
He said: “As a true son of the soil, make me happy by voting me massively. The most important position in a party is governor which God has given to us. I implore those who have not collected their PVCs to do so. We were told that over 600,000 PVCs have not been collected in Osun, which includes Boripe council.
“Don’t be wary to collect your PVC, it is very important for the next generation, this will make you to choose the right leader who will prepare the way for coming generation.
