Nigerians have reacted to the move by the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, to appease the former Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike.
Naija News had earlier reported that Atiku had set up a committee to reach out to Wike and other aggrieved members of the party ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Governor Wike has remained silent since the former Vice President decided to pick the Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate.
Atiku in his plan to win the 2023 presidential election set up the committee to woo the aggrieved members to come on board.
A top Atiku confident told The Punch that the team would reach out to people close to Governor Wike to plead with him to work with the former Vice President.
