A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Femi Fani-Kayode has lambasted the European Union, EU, over its report on the 2023 general elections.
DAILY POST recalls that EU, had in its report last week, said the poll was characterized by irregularities, stating that the outcome of the election damaged the trust reposed on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
EU also tagged Fani-Kayode and Festus Keyamo, former Minister of Labour and Employment as peddlers of fake news during the electioneering season.
Reacting to the report, FFK, a former Minister of Aviation, in a tweet on his Twitter handle on Wednesday accused the EU of taking side, saying they are pained because their preferred candidate lost the election.
According to him, the report was aimed at diminishing, discrediting and tarnishing the victory of President Bola Tinubu.
