Ministers appointed based on political strengths for possible election rerun – Public affairs analyst, Abels

A public affairs analyst, Eugene Abels, has suggested that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s choice of ministerial appointments is based on political reasons in the event of a rerun.

He noted that the ministerial nominees are mostly strong politicians who have influence in their states.

Abels, in an interview with DAILY POST, said he believes these ministers were appointed to deliver votes for the present government, in case there is a rerun in some states.
