Aisha Yesufu accuses Abure of failing to remit N1,000 challenge donations

The Obi-Datti fundraising team has refuted the claim by Labour Party National Chairman Julius Abure that only Aisha Yesufu and Pastor Itua Ighodalo were responsible for managing the campaign funds of LP presidential candidate Peter Obi at the 2023 election.

Abure denied embezzlement and stated that he was not directly involved in the management of the presidential flag candidate. Aisha Yesufu and Pastor Itua Ighodalo were responsible for the payment of Polling Unit Agents. In a viral video, Yesufu described Abure as a liar and challenged him to disclose the proceeds of the ‘Labour Party N1,000 Challenge’ campaign donations he has been raising since 2022.
