State chairmen of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) arrived in Abuja for the National Executive Committee meeting, but were met by a nearly empty party secretariat.
They plan separate meetings with party leaders and the Federal Goverrnment to discuss the hardship caused by the removal of a subsidy. The meetings were postponed due to President Bola Tinubu’s absence.
APC chairman Alfonsus Ogar stated that the party’s stance on certain party matters was put in proper perspective and that several moves are being made to have a closed-door meeting with the party leadership and Tinubu.
