The People’s Democratic Party in Ondo state has criticized Abdullahi Ganduje’s declaration that Ondo and Anambra states would receive Edo treatment in governorship elections. The party’s Publicity Secretary, Kennedy Peretei, criticized Ganduje’s vituperations as confirmation of the election being rigged.
Peretei argued that Nigerians are losing hope in democracy when major players like Ganduje hold influential positions. He praised the courage of the Edo State people in the election, despite INEC’s disobedience of their rules. The party argued that the people of Edo State could never have elected a man who promised to bring “insecurity” to the state.
