AWKA: A Governorship aspirant on the platform of Labour Party in the 2025 Governorship Election in Anambra State, Mr. John Chuma Nwosu has warned that members of the Obidient Movement must learn to from the mistakes made by Labour Party in Imo and Edo governorship election.
Nwosu dropped the advice on Saturday at the Obidient Movement South-East Good Governance Symposium at All Saints Cathedral Auditorium Onitsha.
Nwosu noted that the Movement has witnessed influx of new members who are not familiar with the vision of the movement.
He said: “Now that it is fashionable to be Obidient, we are witnessing those who were not there at the beginning, who hardly made any contributions, trying to hijack the Obidient Movement”.
As for his political ambition, Nwosu said he wants to get involved because dividends of democracy are not working “for our people in Nigeria and also for us here in Anambra. So, we need leadership changes that will bring about a New Nigeria that is Possible. Charity begins at home; so we will start here. I Obidiently offered myself to serve”.
