Notably, Osinbajo has not been prominently involved in various political activities since his departure from office in 2023, leading to speculation regarding his potential withdrawal from the APC and politics in general.
Recall that the former Vice President participated in the APC primary in 2022 but was unsuccessful in securing the party’s nomination, ultimately losing to President Bola Tinubu.
He held the position of Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Lagos State from 1999 to 2007 during Tinubu’s tenure as governor.
In the meantime, some political analysts have suggested that Osinbajo’s reduced engagement in political matters may be a consequence of his defeat in the APC primary, while others contend that he is allocating less time to politics due to his recent role as Global Advisor for the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP)…
