BRAIN WEAPON FEARS US officials reckon they have been targeted by ‘Russian superweapon that fries their brains’

TWO dozen US officials reckon they have been targeted by a suspected Russian superweapon that fries their brains.

They reportedly suffered headaches, vertigo and vision problems and described feeling as if they were standing in a beam of energy.

The officials have all fallen ill in Vienna, Austria this year, according to The New Yorker.

The magazine claims CIA director William Burns is privately convinced they are attacks.

Experts think victims could have been zapped by a microwave weapon.

The US State Department said it was probing “reports of possible unexplained health incidents”.

The first such cases emerged among CIA agents in Cuba.
