Nigeria Mining Cadastre Office says it plans to revoke more unutilised titles in 2023

In its bid to generate appropriate revenue for the government, the Nigeria Mining Cadastre Office, responsible for the management and administration of mineral titles in the country, says it plans to revoke more unutilised titles in 2023.

The Director-General of the agency, Obadiah Nkom, who disclosed this yesterday while appearing at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, for the first 2023 edition of the Ministerial Briefing, organised by the Presidential Communication Team, also said the agency generated N14.59 billion between 2018 and 2022 from the issuance of mining licences…
