Military technology has been developing at a breakneck speed, and with no sign of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine stopping any time soon, development is only expected to accelerate.
With this in mind, the Daily Star tasked two bleeding-edge generative AIs to figure out what the world’s biggest armies would look like by the year 2100.
ChatGPT was tasked with figuring out which countries would be considered a “top 10” army, while Midjourney was asked to generate images of what soldiers from these armies would look like.
ChatGPT was quick to point out that myriad factors played into these questions, writing: “Numerous factors, such as geopolitical shifts, technological advancements, population changes, and unforeseen events, can significantly impact military capabilities.”
