RIFNOTE
THE Celestial Church of Christ has berated the founder of Salvation Ministries,Pastor David Ibiyeomie, over what it described as bogus ,damaging and infantile comments about the church.
The church,in a statement by the Head,Media and Publicity,Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala, issued a strong warning to Ibiyeomie to bridle his tongue, adding that it may be compelled to hand “him over, in his folly, to the law enforcement authorities for the crime of cyber bullying” should his attack on the church continue.
Recall that Ibiyeomie had in viral video expressed fierce disdain for white garment churches, accusing prophets of the Celestial Church of manipulating destinies with incantations and kaikai(local gin).
He said; “Do you know why I hate white garment churches, people don’t know why I hate them. if you know what they do you will never like them.
“They can take your own surname and put it in a bottle of gin and make incantations. As they are doing that that’s how the boy will be drinking. Ask these ‘cele’ prophets, they will take someone’s name and put inside Kai Kai (local gin) and then read all those demonic psalms and the boy will look at them and say ‘Give me a bottle of schnapp’. The boy was not drinking before.”
Expressing his disappointment, Ajala said that it was unfortunate that a man of God and minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ would stand on a pulpit and face his congregation to denigrate and deride the entire image of another denomination in the body of Christ.
”There is obviously an error of judgment in Ibiyeomie’s “Kai Kai” outburst because it is not logical to move from citing a singular example of anything and then proceed illogically to conclude that what one unit is guilty of, if so, is representative of an entire church. What Pastor David Ibiyeomie has done publicly with his video in the cyberspace is nothing short of cyber bullying which is a crime, but we would refrain from treating it as such for now, ” he said
