Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has alleged that two Christian judges conspired to remove him from office due to religious sentiments.
Sule made the claim in Abuja on Tuesday while speaking at the 2023 Peace and Development Submit for Young University Students.
Speaking in a video seen by DAILY POST, Sule recalled that before the March 18 governorship election in Nasarawa, Bishop Abioye of Living Faith had called on Christians to vote for Christians only.
The governor claimed that the statement contributed to his sack by the tribunal.
He accused the judges of hinging the tribunal’s judgement on religious sentiments, instead of the facts presented before them.
