Nigerian social media influencer and former Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) minister Mrs. Funke Ashekun has accused the church’s General Overseer, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, of forcibly hypnotizing her during a private meeting. In an exclusive interview with SaharaReporters, Ashekun detailed her alleged traumatic experience and claims of widespread abuse within the church.
Mrs. Funke Ashekun, a former MFM minister, alleges that Dr. Olukoya grabbed her, pressed his forehead against hers, and attempted to hypnotize her in his office. She described the encounter as deeply unsettling and later discovered similar claims from other women who reportedly lost consciousness after similar interactions.
Ashekun also revealed she met a suicidal woman who accused Olukoya of years of sexual abuse, shaking her faith in the church’s leadership.
