Manchester United legend Gary Neville was left in hysterics after seeing the banner that flew over Anfield today. During the second half of Liverpool‘s home match against Fulham, a plane flew above the famous old stadium. Trailing behind was a message which read: “Unity is strength – Let’s go Reds YNWA.”

Liverpool have been on a wretched run of form in the Premier League, having lost their previous five home league matches.
They were once again trailing to relegation-threatened Fulham when the banner passed over.
Neville was not at the game as he instead will be at the Etihad, co-commentating on the Manchester derby which kicks off at 4.30pm.
But he could not resist having a dig at his old rivals on social media.
First, Neville posted an image of the banner on Twitter, accompanied with five laughing emojis.
But the former England right-back could not leave it there.
He then posted a video outside the Etihad, where he continued to poke fun at the banner.
Neville said: “So I’m just about to walk into the Etihad for the Manchester derby, a little look there for you.
“Good record here, United, the last year or two. Ole [Gunnar Solskjaer]’s got a decent record as well against Pep [Guardiola], which not many managers have.
“But remember, the most important thing today, as the plane that flew over Liverpool told us, is unity is strength.”
He finished his message by laughing for a few seconds.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp made seven changes for the match against Fulham.
Mario Lemina put the Cottagers in front just before half time.
Ahead of the match, Reds legend Graeme Souness attempted to explain the reason for the multitude of changes to the starting XI.
“I think certainly one or two, maybe three things,” Souness said on Sky Sports.
“That he’s certainly had words with some of them, he’s not happy with some of them.
“I mentioned intensity before, I think that’s been missing, because there’s no doubting they’re still talented boys.
“Three games in six days, is he thinking he should be resting some? To make seven changes, that’s a hell of a lot.
“Are you starting to prioritise? Are you thinking we’re going to struggle to get in the top four the way it’s going?
“It’s a difficult call, only the players and the manager himself will know if they’ve had words.
“I would imagine that Jurgen has, if he’s not reached there, is pretty close to going down the road where he’s got to fall out with some players.
“I’d imagine seven changes is more than he’d like to make, but I’d imagine he’s maybe had some harsh words with some players.”
