Robert Lewandowski, still one of the best strikers on the planet at age 32, has two years left on his contract at Bayern Munich, which means it’s time for his agent, Pini Zahavi, to start making some moves behind the scenes and set the table for negotiations about an extension.
Earlier stories already talked about how Lewandowski could earn even more than his current €20m yearly salary elsewhere, and while the player himself hasn’t intimated anything about a potential move after seven years and seven million goals at the club, that hasn’t stopped the rumor mill from lapping up Zahavi’s crumbs and running with them like they’re bursting with nutritional click-content.
As per Sport1. Zahavi has already held some talks with Bayern about his main man’s future, perhaps dusting off the same presentation he used the last time he pushed for a Premier League move for Lewandowski.

As unlikely as it may be, interest in Lewandowski would not be lacking, even at the €60m price being mooted. As per Sky Deutschland, several top European clubs are monitoring the situation, and according to ESPN, they include both Champions League finalists, Chelsea and Manchester City. PSG and Barcelona are also said to be interested, the former especially if they lose Kylian Mbappé.

The Lewandowski rumors are very likely to be contract shenanigans, driven by Zahavi, but if the player were to be actually available on the market, it might be a prudent decision for Chelsea to make a move, least of all because of the mentorship that he can provide to Cobra Kai Havertz.
