Paris Saint-Germain were delighted when they announced that Brazilian superstar forward Neymar signed a new four-year contract until 30 June 2025 on Saturday.
Neymar signed a world record £200million deal in 2017 and he said “happiness” was a factor in him extending his stay despite being linked with a move back to Barcelona.
He has had a difficult relationship with Parisian fans after expressing his desire for a transfer in 2019.
“Things have happened that should not have happened,” Neymar admitted after signing the deal.
“We had fights, a few sad times, but I am happy and proud to be part of the history of Paris St-Germain.”
And PSG have produced phenomenal numbers in his new deal that should keep Neymar happy for a while.
Over the course of his new contract, Neymar is guaranteed to earn £26million per year.
Broken down, that’s £54 per minute so at this rate over the course of a match, Neymar would collect £4,860 after the final whistle of each game.
Time during the day can be considered by most as priceless but for Neymar, his daily wage would earn him £77,600.
For that price, the Brazilian superstar could drive away a brand new Tesla Electric x model every day of the week where his wallet by then would increase to £544,000.
After a long hard month of training, Neymar pockets just over a staggering £2.1million pounds.
That level of cash would be able to get you a luxurious two-week stay in the world famous Empathy suite in the Las Vegas Palms Casino resort that includes a shark tank, full bar and on-call chauffeur for £100,000 per night.
If Neymar isn’t happy after all those figures, he has more than enough to invest in bitcoin.
