Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta has reportedly agreed a deal in principle to join Barcelona when his contract expires at the end of the season.
The 32-year-old, who joined Chelsea from Marseille nearly ten years ago, has won eight trophies in his time at Stamford Bridge, including the Champions League last term.
Thomas Tuchel and Chelsea have been relaxed about his contract situation, expecting the skipper to commit his future to the club with a short-term deal on the table.
But Azpilicueta is yet to sign and Barcelona have been sniffing around.
And Spanish journalist Gerard Romero claims Azpilicueta now has an ‘agreement in principle’ with the Catalans.
He adds that ‘only a few personal issues can change the course of the operation’…
