Real Madrid announced through their official website on Wednesday that Thibaut Courtois, Fede Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga and Vinicius have all tested positive for COVID-19.
Luka Modric, Marcelo, Marco Asensio, Rodrygo, Gareth Bale, Andriy Lunin, David Alaba and Isco had also returned positive results before the Christmas break, but they are gradually recovering and should soon be available for selection again for Carlo Ancelotti.
Real Madrid are set to play away at Getafe at 14:00 CET on Sunday, January 2, their first game of the new year.
