Leicester City are finally looking to add some new players to their squad as they are in talks to sign Jeremie Boga from Atalanta and Wout Faes from Reims.
The Foxes have trousered around £70m in a deal to sell Wesley Fofana to Chelsea and are looking to reinvest at least a piece of that cash back into the squad.
The Athletic report that Atalanta’s former Chelsea winger Boga has emerged as a target and talks are ongoing between the Premier League and Serie A sides.
The 25-year-old was a Chelsea man from 2009-18, although only made one league appearance for the Blues, spending time on loan at Rennes, Granada and Birmingham.
He began to impress after making a permanent move to Sassuolo in 2018 and joined Atalanta earlier this year, although has fallen out of favour in the first team.
Faes is a 24-year-old centre-back playing in France with Reims and is being eyed up as a replacement in defence for Fofana.
He was the Ligue 1 side’s Player of the Season last campaign, but his only playing experience has been in Belgium, Netherlands and France, with one cap for Belgium to his name…
