“I think I’m 10 times the player I was last season now in Madrid,” Jude Bellingham told Real Madrid TV.
“With these players, with these teammates, I learn. The level here is very high.
“I’m like a sponge assimilating what I learn from my teammates, they remain many games and I have to continue contributing,” Bellingham added.
Bellingham bagged a brace at the weekend to help Real Madrid beat Almeria 3-1, with Vinicius Jr bagging his first goal of the season.
But it’s the new boy who has hit the ground running with three goals and an assist for Los Blancos in his first two games.
If Bellingham continues at this rate he’s likely to score more than 25 goals for Real Madrid in his first season.
Last season Bellingham scored 14 goals and seven assists in 42 games for Borussia Dortmund.
