ESPN Brazil report that Fluminense have rejected Liverpool’s latest €30m bid for Andre. The Brazilian side do not want to sell him in the summer even if the Reds increased their offer.
A football season in Brazil lasts until late December and Fluminense do not want to lose their key player in the middle of their Serie A and Copa Libertadores campaign.
The source states that the Reds are unlikely to come back for the midfielder in January as they need him now. Liverpool will be looking for new names.
The news come as a blow to Andre himself, who reportedly told Fluminense that he wants the club to sell him to Liverpool.
