Manchester United began their Carabao Cup defence with a comfortable victory over Crystal Palace at Old Trafford to reach the fourth round.
Two goals in the space of six first-half minutes from Alejandro Garnacho and Casemiro put the hosts in control.
Casemiro turned provider for Anthony Martial 10 minutes in to the second half to put the result beyond doubt.
The draw for the fourth round takes place on Wednesday following Manchester City’s trip to face Newcastle United.
