Enzo Fernandez, the World Cup-winning midfielder and Chelsea star, has been found guilty of failing to disclose the identity of the driver of a Porsche that allegedly ran a red light in Carmarthenshire.
The Argentinian footballer was charged by Dyfed-Powys Police and found guilty in his absence at a hearing in Llanelli Magistrates’ Court. Fernandez, valued at more than £106 million, will be sentenced in September, and magistrates have adjourned the hearing to consider any mitigating circumstances before deciding if a disqualification from driving is appropriate.
