Athletic Club manager Ernesto Valverde has put potential suitors of Nico Williams on notice, declaring that the club’s talented winger does not appear to be seeking a departure from Bilbao this summer.
The 22-year-old impressed both in La Liga and the European Championships, catching the attention of major clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea, and Barcelona.
However, Valverde remains confident in Williams’ commitment to Athletic, stating that “he’s happy with us and we’re happy with him.” The manager also emphasized his belief that the club’s current squad is strong and capable of rising to the challenges of the upcoming season.
