Osimhen shines in Istanbul derby as Mourinho’s Fenerbahce suffers 3-1 defeat to Galatasaray

Galatasaray defeated Fenerbahce 3-1 in the Turkish Super Lig, ending their 32-match unbeaten streak. The match marked José Mourinho’s debut as Fenerbahce’s coach in the Istanbul derby. Galatasaray took control early with goals from Dominik Livakovic and Diego Mertens.

Gabriel Davi Gomes scored Galatasaray’s third goal in the second half. Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen contributed with a world-class assist in the 28th minute. The victory solidified Galatasaray’s top position in the Super Lig table.
