Trent Alexander-Arnold has reportedly made two demands to Liverpool in order to reject a move to Real Madrid this summer.
The 26-year-old is out of contract in the summer and his future has become one of the key talking points of the January transfer window.
The Times’ Paul Joyce reported on New Year’s Eve that Liverpool rejected a bid from Real for Alexander-Arnold, with the reigning Champions League holders believed to be willing to pay £20 million to sign him early.
Such a fee would be far below what the Reds would expect to command if the right-back was on a long-term deal, with the mere existence of a bid – given that Real can agree a pre-contract immediately to sign him in the summer – indicating just how keen Los Blancos are to close out the deal early…
