Max Eberl has revealed whether Bayern Munich plan to sign Christopher Nkunku before the January transfer window slams shut. The 27-year-old forward has been heavily linked with a move to the Allianz Arena this month after growing frustrated with his role in the Chelsea squad.
Earlier this month, football.london reported that the German giants were interested in signing Nkunku, who has made just three starts in the Premier League this season. Meanwhile, Tel had emerged as a target for Chelsea as Enzo Maresca looked to bolster his frontline.
football.london understands that the West Londoners made contact with Bayern over a potential deal for the 19-year-old forward. Chelsea, who have long admired Tel, asked the Bavarians if the Frenchman would be available to sign following an initial enquiry last summer.
