Marcus Rashford seeks help from ex-Man Utd star’s brother to secure transfer exit

Marcus Rashford has hired a new agent as he pushes for a move away from Manchester United with less than a week remaining in the January transfer window.

Rashford’s brother Dwaine Maynard has represented the forward for most of his career and was hold talks with a number of clubs at home and abroad in recent weeks.

But, as first reported by the Daily Star, Rashford, who is increasingly frustrated at the lack of progress, is now seeking the help of Chris Welbeck – the brother of Brighton and former United striker Danny Welbeck.

Chris Welbeck is a FIFA licensed agent and director of Prodigy Sports Group, which represents a host of players.

Rashford is on a mission to leave Old Trafford after his relationship with United boss Ruben Amorim turned toxic on Sunday night when the Portuguese said he would rather select his 63-year-old goalkeeping coach than a player not fully committed to the club…
