Tottenham star Dejan Kulusevski has insisted the team will “fight” for Ange Postecoglou, who he believes is the “right man” for the job despite the team’s woeful form.
Spurs have slipped to 15th in the Premier League after back-to-back losses against relegation-threatened sides Everton and Leicester City, leading some fans to call for the Australian to be sacked.
Tottenham have now suffered 13 defeats in the Premier League with 15 games still left to play, but they’re still in three cup competitions and under-fire Postecoglou has stressed his belief the team can do “something special” despite their lowly position.
Kulusevski, who has been Tottenham’s stand-out star with nine goals and eight assists, agreed with his manager’s words as pointed out that Postecoglou had the team playing “beautiful” football earlier in the season.
“Yeah I agree with him,” the Swedish international said. “Three cups, we’re doing really well in the cups. I think we can do big things in these last four months.”

After being pushed on why he felt Postecoglou was the right man for the job, Kulusevski added: “Because we had games where we showed perfect football and football not many teams can play in the world. We played beautiful against [Manchester] United, City away 4-0 and yeah we’re behind him. I have to fight for him because I believe in that football too. Yeah, he is the right man…
