Sowore defies DSS, refuses to delete tweet calling Tinubu a “criminal”

Human rights activist and Sahara Reporters publisher, Omoyele Sowore, has insisted he will not delete a tweet in which he referred to President Bola Tinubu as a “criminal,” despite reported pressure from the State Security Service to suspend his account.

Mr Sowore disclosed on Sunday morning that X (formerly Twitter) notified him of a request by the State Security Service (SSS) to take down his post.

This morning, X (formerly Twitter) officially contacted me about the despicable threat letter they received from the lawless @OfficialDSSNG over my Tweet BELOW on Tinubu. One option I will NOT be taking is deleting that Tweet. Thank you, @X
