Donald Trump sparked health concerns at a 9/11 memorial service after viewers noticed his face drooping, though supporters dismissed the claims as unfair speculation.
Fresh concerns have been raised over President Donald Trump’s health following his appearance at a 9/11 memorial ceremony near Washington on Thursday.
The 79-year-old president attended the Pentagon Memorial with First Lady Melania Trump to mark the 24th anniversary of the attacks. However, images and video circulating on X (formerly Twitter) showed Trump’s mouth drooping on one side, leading to speculation about a possible stroke.
“He looks like he has had a TIA/minor stroke. This isn’t a one-off expression, he’s been like this for 30 minutes,” one user claimed.
Another wrote, “During the 9/11 ceremony Trump was falling asleep. Also, while relaxing, his face started to droop to one side. This man is not medically well.”
Others dismissed the claims, saying Trump appeared “tired and troubled” after the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk a day earlier. During the service, Trump paid tribute to Kirk, calling him “greatly missed” and announcing he would receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom posthumously.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth likened Kirk’s legacy to those lost in the attacks.
The White House has not commented on Trump’s health, though earlier this month officials denied similar rumours after he sounded congested in a phone interview.
