Eddie Hearn has admitted that even if results go the way of Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua this summer, he is not confident they’ll meet later this year.
The Matchroom Boxing boss was shellshocked by last week’s news that Deontay Wilder had been awarded a trilogy fight with Fury in arbitration last week, which was almost immediately booked for July 24.
And due to the breakdown in his initial deal with Fury’s promoters Bob Arum and Frank Warren, Hearn has lost trust in the WBC heavyweight champion’s team.
