Novak Djokovic is reportedly refusing to leave Australia as the row over his deportation status continues.
According to reports from Down Under, Djokovic is currently discussing the situation with his lawyers.
The Serbian ace won an appeal against deportation from Australia on Monday morning, with a judge ordering he be released from hotel detention in Melbourne.
Judge Anthony Kelly ordered Djokovic’s visa cancellation ruling to be immediately “quashed”, agreeing with the tennis star’s lawyers over the handling of the matter.
He said that officials ‘failed to give valid notice of the intention to cancel the visa’ despite government officials arguing that Djokovic’s recent Covid infection does not make him exempt.
Journalist Ksenija Pavlovic McAteer later reported that the world No.1 had been re-arrested despite the ruling.
