What a save by the talented Chiamaka Nnadozie.

The game ended deadlocked at 0-0
Despite a late red card to Nigeria’s Deborah Abiodun, the Canadians were unable to take the late advantage despite controlling a large amount of possession throughout the game.
The biggest chance of the match came on the penalty kick that was saved by Chiamla Nnadozie.
Nigeria will be very much the happier, they fought hard against the Olympic champions and one of the World Cup favourites, and got a hard earned point.
For Canada, it is disappointment and especially so for Christine Sinclair, who misses the chance to become the first player to score at six Fifa World Cups.
She was denied by Nigeria keeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, who would be my pick for player of the match. Only 22, she didn’t put a foot wrong.
‘Nigeria deserve a point’
You have to say that Nigeria deserved a point there. They stuck to their task. They didn’t create too many chances but did have their moments and were helped out by a good goalkeeper in Chiamaka Nnadozie
Where does that leave Group B?
Australia lead Group B with three points after beating Republic of Ireland last night. Canada and Nigeria each have a point, with the Irish yet to get off the mark.
This always looked like one of the most competitive groups at the World Cup and so it is proving to be.
Next up, Canada face Republic on 26 July, with Nigeria facing the Australians a day later.
