Josè Mourinho has built and is building Roma by buying many players from the Premier League.
After signing Rui Patricio, Chris Smalling, Nemanja Matic, Tammy Abraham, Diego Llorente and Rasmus Kristensen, he absolutely wants to bring forward Calvert-Lewin to the Eternal City.
Roma really like the Everton star because he would allow Abraham to ease back to full fitness after his knee injury and offer Paulo Dybala a strong partner similar to Mario Mandzukic at Juventus.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Roma are seriously interested in presenting an official offer for the 26-year-old centre-forward who has had difficulties in the last two seasons.
With Ancelotti at Everton, however, Calvert-Lewin scored 21 goals and this aspect is considered to be a fundamental evaluation for the Italian club which has always had a lot of admiration for players coached by the former Giallorossi manager.
