Enoh’s first assignment with the Super Eagles will be when Nigeria hosts São Tomé on September 10th at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo for the last African Cup of Nations qualifying match.
The Minister of Sports, John Owan Enoh has appealed to the Super Eagles of Nigeria to beat São Tomé as a welcome gift for him.
Enoh who was appointed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu last month to oversee the Sporting activities in the country.

Enoh in a meeting with the leadership of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), made the appeal to the team.
Enoh stated that he will celebrate a victory from the team, which would come as a good welcome gift for him.
He said, “Even though we are home and dry in the qualifying series, I will be excited if the Super Eagles can beat São Tomé and Principe for the generality of Nigerians, as we celebrate this new phase of our sports.”
